This workshop will show you how I created historic markers with students using subtractive manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to create your own marker using styrofoam and markers. I will share all resources for this project with teachers.

Mike teacher students Pre-Engineering at SLA Middle School in Philadelphia, where he works with 5th through 8th graders and founded the Engineering program. Prior to joining the staff at SLA-MS, he founded the Wildcat Workshop at Marian Anderson neighborhood Academy (fka Arthur Elementary School). He has been a maker his whole life and enjoys woodworking and photography when he is not wrangling his two children.
