Argent Engraving has, since 2022, made unique laser engraved goods, featuring your favorite Pop Culture characters, made mostly from recycled wood found from throughout Kentuckiana. Sammi, Argent Engraving's owner and operator, been featured at over 150 different events and shows, including the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival, Maker Faire, Pop Con, and has sold thousand of items. Sammi believes in bringing whimsy and fun to her art, while reminding people that there's always a second life for any item. Argent Engraving started as Pandemic-era Hobby, finding something to be creative while on lockdown. When the new normal settled in, and life reopened, the hobby got put to the side. As she settled after a job change and move, she picked it back up in the summer of 2022. Sammi found different ideas, and tested different things with a very inexpensive laser she bought to learn on, she eventually built up enough to do her first show in late 2022. From there, Sammi developed the idea of using pop culture characters, and using recycled materials to lower costs and reuse things otherwise often thrown out. She found happy buyers at dozens of shows, events and conventions.
