Don Haynes

Don Haynes began leather craft as a teenager, doing Western tooling and producing pictorial scenes. Working for a summer at a bridle and tack shop, he developed a healthy respect for the “monster” stitching machines, but also a lasting desire to master the various tools and techniques required for production leatherwork. He now owns Lazarus Leatherworks and specializes in refurbishing worn leather goods, or repurposing them into new and unique items if they are beyond repair and in the creation of custom leather goods. He continues to hone his tools, as well as his skills and artistry in his chosen craft.
