As one of the first films I saw in theaters as a child, Disney's The Princess Diaries has always been a favorite. This year, I'm bringing main character Mia Thermopolis to life! Join me as I build mockups and talk research, planning, sourcing, and prototypes for costume projects, as well as all my other interests: history, gaming, travel, vlogging, and witchcraft.

What Inspired You to Make This?

"The Princess Diaries" was one of the first films I remember watching in theaters as a kid; I was 6! It stuck with me and has always been a favorite, so I decided to recreate Mia's Grove High School Uniform seen throughout the movie and her gown from the Genovian Independence Day ball at the end of the film.
