Long Island Droid Builders We are in the Long Island area of New York. Our members have custom built their own life size, operational droids including R2-D2 from Star Wars as well as robots from Doctor Who. We operate them for charitable and community events.

Found myself unemployed and bored. I eventually found the R2 builders club online and a few parts. Thats what began my journey that I dreamed about since I was 10 seeing Star Wars in 1977.
