Robert Johnson

Dr. Robert Johnson serves both the Los Rios and Sierra Community College Districts providing instruction in the areas of entertainment industry, commercial music production, live sound reinforcement, studio recording techniques, and composition with electronic media. Dr. Johnson is a Northern California foothill native with a well-established history, addressing the educational needs of music students here in the Sacramento Valley. Within the California State University system, he completed a bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts at CSU Chico in 1994, followed by an MM in Music Education at CSU, Sacramento in 2003. In 2017, he returned to CSUS to complete his Doctorate in Educational Leadership. He also remains active in curriculum development and program leadership, serving as lead developer and Career Technical Education representative for the Sierra College Media and Public Event Production certificate program.
