I am a class of 2023 high school graduate. I have autism and I like to help people with disabilities. I make communication boards for people who are non verbal. This is used for people who have trouble speaking. I also make adapted switches for people with limited movements. I especially like making these things for first responders and this is what I do for the most part. My dad is an EMT and supports me giving the boards to first responders
What Inspired You to Make This?
I used to be really afraid of talking to the police and I wanted to help others and myself get more comfortable with being around first responders. Especially how police officers don't always understand people with disabilities.
