I noticed that sport motorcycle designers and aquatic life have solved aero/hydro-dynamics is similar ways. I decided to use my prop-making skills to relate this observation in a literal and fun art piece. I've been very inspired by the art car movement which (unlike a parade float, for example) aims to drive art right into the everyday world and inspire everyone to be more creative .
