Meet FX designer Jesse Velez and his robotic Thing, the disembodied hand made famous by Wednesday Addams in the hit series — and in Netflix’ award-winning stunt videos in NYC. Jesse is the owner of Raptor House Effects, designing animatronics, miniatures, creatures, costumes, and sets for film, TV, and other industries.

MAKE: DEMO STAGE

Experience the thrilling world of drone racing! Join us at 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm for heart-pounding races that will leave you breathless. Don’t miss the chance to witness the incredible skills of our commercial drones at 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, and 5 pm every day. Our talented drone racers will also be available to sign autographs and take pictures with the little ones.

Don’t miss the explosive spectacle of EepyBird’s 102 bottles of Diet Coke (or similar), each featuring a unique, meticulously crafted nozzle. With a simple pull of a pin, 6 Mentos candies cascade down, launching a mesmerizing 20-foot geyser into the sky. Witness our choreographed fountain display, inspired by the iconic Bellagio fountains of Las Vegas.

Learn more about the science and engineering of Celestial Mechanica, a very large scale orrery — those little brass models of the solar system DaVinci used to make celestial calculations? Mine is originally inspired from the movie dark crystal where Agra had one in her laboratory of their solar system.

Pamela Parker captures the San Francisco music scene, ranging from rock to gospel to R&B to epic psychedelia. Pamela Parker sings and plays guitar and piano. Pamela Parker has built a new sound of her own and her live band brings it all together with dynamic stage presence and commanding vocals.
