Praying with fire is a post apocalyptic version of what a insects might look like after the humans have left. More importantly it is a metaphor for our desire to recreate nature with our hands and using the disregarded materials to do so.

Todd Cox is a Sonoma county artist and sculptor, he attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and now works in metal clay, neon, bronze, and clay.
