Bay-Net - 21st Century Amateur Radio

Bay-Net - 21st Century Amateur Radio

Bay-Net is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to public service, STEM education, and fostering the evolution of amateur radio in the 21st century.

What inspired you to make this project?:
Amateur radio dates back to the earliest days of radio, before even government regulation of the airwaves. The hobby has a strong tradition of hands-on electronics and do-it-yourself - many "hams" build their equipment from scavenged parts and repurposed materials. We see the Maker movement as an extension and evolution of that tradition, and we want to encourage strong ties and community-building between hams and makers.
