Making my way through life's adversities. Leaving home with a 7 grade education, facing the challenges that come with being young, broke, uneducated, a person of color, and a mother of 6 on welfare. Hacking away at life to create opportunities for a future for myself, my children, and my community.

Founding CEO of Hacker Lab and Code For Hood, Gina is a Social Entrepreneur. She focuses on community, business, regional, and economic development at Hacker Lab. Gina possesses 15 years’ technology experience in web development, and is a repurpose maker. She prides herself in building communities and true relationships that bring change making to fruition.
