The Mechanical Horse

World Maker Faire 2015

September 26th-27th

Exhibit Art & DesignRibbon Recipient

The project is a life-size, suspended, stainless steel, mechanical horse, galloping in slow motion at the push of a button. It was single-handedly designed, machined and sculpted by me, at home and in my metal shop in Brooklyn, NY.

I was born and raised in New York City. I have always aspired to be creative. I wanted to be an architect, then I studied Industrial Design for a year, but all those careers are still so limiting. I have been a metal sculptor since 2009.
