The Fire Organ

Presenting the Fire Organ-the many-headed hydra of flame tubes! This mutant offspring of a Rubens' tube and a pipe organ lets you discover a unique way to see, feel and touch sound through flames and motion.

What inspired you to make this project?:
We want to spark conversations with the public about the nature of sound. By building an instrument that unites fire with sound, we can capture people's attention inspire them to ask questions. How does the Fire Organ work? What is a Reubens' tube? What is sound?
