I became interested in the model car hobby at the age of 5 . I was born with Asthma thus growing up i was not able to ride bike or run and play with my cousins and friends. Stuck in the house i would watch my dad build model cars and motorcycles, i enjoyed seeing the box of plastic parts take the form of some of the coolest modes of transportation ever. As i grew older i would spend all my free time practicing paint methods and other techniques that would further enhance the model car hobby. On display are a few different pieces from my collection, among them are 2 replica builds of my dad's 1948 chevy fleetline and my uncle's 1949 chevy fastback. These 2 are what i would say are among my favorite builds. Also displayed is my 1979 Schwinn cruiser bicycle. This bicycle was a gift from my dad, once in my hands i disassembled the bicycle and restoration began, paint, custom woodgrain by good friend Marcus Madrid, seat material is from a 1947 chevy automobile.
