Cody Vrosh is an illustrator and watercolor artist, fusing science fiction elements with bold women and playful creatures to create unique speculative illustrations. He is the creator of COFFEE CREATURES and TEETH CREATURES. His work includes art for Sideshow Collectibles, Famous Monsters/American Gothic Press, and Printed in Blood. Cody's current project is LITTLE SATELLITES, a collection of paintings of lost astronauts traveling the cosmos exploring themes of solitude and mortality. Together with his wife Sheatiel, he founded Binary Winter Press, an indie small press making original art, books, pins and hand screen printed apparel featuring the things they love best, from space cats to coffee, strange fauna to starlight wanderings. They have been exhibiting at Maker Faire almost every year since 2009 and have received the Maker Faire Editor's Choice Blue Ribbon.

Jsme SoRC, tým pěti nadšenců, kteří se rozhodli, že rakety v Česku nebudou výsadou jen velkých spolků a týmů. Od návrhu přes výrobu až po start – vše si děláme in-house. Žádné hotové komponenty, žádné kompromisy. Každý díl, každý řádek kódu, každý test je výsledkem naší práce. Naše cesta začala v roce 2024 na Czech Rocket Challenge, kde jsme si poprvé vyzkoušeli, co obnáší stavba a let komplexnější rakety. Od té doby jsme se nezastavili – vyvíjíme vlastní suborbitální rakety pro testování letových počítačů, atmosférických sond a dalších experimentů. Na Maker Faire přivezeme naši raketu DOGE, která představuje důležitý krok v našem vývoji. Byla naším prvním milníkem a pomohla nám získat cenné zkušenosti a data pro budoucí projekty. Nezapomeneme ani na naši nejnovější raketu ELA, podělíme se o zkušenosti z vývoje a ukážeme, že postavit raketu od nuly je sice výzva, ale rozhodně možná.

We will display 2 projects, one is our liquid DPF engine that will be used for the DPF challenge, something we have been working on for the past year. The second project is one of our previous year large-scale competition rockets that we will showcase. We are River City Rocketry, a nationally ranked collegiate rocket team that designs, manufactures, and launches high powered rockets in a rocketry competition. Founded in 2011, we are a creative RSO dedicated to the creation and engineering of high powered competition rockets. We work on these rockets and compete at a collegiate level in the annual International Rocket Engineering Competition, the largest collegiate rocketry competition in the world. Návštěvníci se dozví spoustu zajímavostí ze světa vesmírného inženýrství, jak se navrhuje a staví satelit a co všechno je potřeba pro úspěšnou kosmickou misi. Součástí expozice bude i mini workshop pájení, kde si můžete vyrobit vlastní svítící klíčenku, která se rozsvítí po zapojení do počítače.
