Geigerův čítač radiační zátěže postavený ze starých SSSR dílů

Projekt se týká domácí stavby geigerova čítače z dostupných dílů. Hlavní detekční část tvoří geiger-mullerova trubice sovětské výroby (stále funkční typ STS-5, rok výroby 1962) Jedná se původně o středoškolský projekt. Diváci budou mít možnost na ukázku sami užít přístroje k změření dávky velice slabých záříčů - uranové sklo, nebo třeba zářivé věci denní potřeby (banány). Dále diváci obdrží stručné vysvětlení základních principů fungování přístrojů k měření ionizujícího záření. Přístroj samotný - detekční základ tvoří plynová geiger-mullerova trubice, dále obvody pro zpracování impulzní informace a nakonec Arduino UNO k počítání impulzů (dávky) a řízení displaye s uživatelskými nastaveními.

La ghigliottina a scuola nuovo strumento didattico

Una ghigliottina 2.0 è un originale strumento didattico per sottoporre a test di impatto prototipi realizzati da studenti e studentesse. Puoi provare anche tu a “ghigliottinare” vari oggetti, e rivedere il replay con fotocamere ad alta velocità. Gira la chiave di sicurezza, premi il pulsante e guarda la massa che inesorabile andrà a rompere l’oggetto designato. Il dispositivo è stato realizzato dal CNR per testare arredi con funzione antisismica. I prototipi in scala sono stati realizzati da studenti e studentesse dello IED di Roma, che si sono dedicato alla progettazione e divertiti a testare all’impatto la resistenza delle loro creazioni.

OTC – Orbital ToolChanger je 3D tiskárna s otočnou hlavou, která umožňuje používat až čtyři trysky pro různé materiály bez nutnosti výměny nástroje. Díky čtyřem nezávislým hotendům není potřeba trysky mezi výměnami čistit, což výrazně snižuje odpad filamentu a zrychluje samotný tisk. Na Maker Faire představím early prototype, ukážu mechanismus výměny trysky a konstrukční principy. Návštěvníci si budou moci zblízka prohlédnout pohybový systém, zeptat se na technické detaily a vidět, jak výměna probíhá v reálném čase. Jakmile doladím všechny detaily a mechaniku, plánuju celý projekt zveřejnit jako open-source, aby si ho mohl kdokoliv postavit nebo upravit podle sebe. Modely a návody budou volně dostupné na mém profilu na Printables.

Osazovačka plošných spojů je převážně z 3D tištěných dílů a měla by být jednoduše složitelná/opravitelná jako například 3D tiskárna. Stroj pomocí vakua nabírá komponenty a precizně je umísťuje na plošný spoj. Z jiných projektů přivezu opět ukázat své arkádové ovladače spolu s monitory pro hraní retro her, svůj 3D tištěný NAS a jiné drobné projekty. Rád bych také zopakoval malé workshopy (u mě na stánku) pro ty, kteří by si chtěli vyzkoušet ruční osazení SMD součástek a vyrobit si blikající srdíčko.

After years of design work and 3 Maker Faires we have locked in on an accessable way for everyone to feel the joy of flight. With 2 electric motors, tool batteries for power and a refined wing form we have completed taxi tests and are working on hitting the speed of 34 mph which is the calculated speed for our vehicle to achieve flight. The air frame and electronics are being rigorously tested in our local park and transport of this new sport machine is still easy, just 2 pieces of normal luggage that will be flying with is from the USA to Rome, Italy.

Smash Bot Brawlers presents new Kung Fu Fighting Robot ENDEAVOR II and the return of SHOTWELL. Endeavor II is an open-source, 3-D printed, middleweight fighting robot with 17 high torque servos, designed by ProtoDane Robotics. Endeavor II tips the scales at 3 kg, with ESP32 for programmability and optional IMU for dynamic balancing, powered by a massive 80C 5200maH LiPo battery with relay cutoff. A Bluetooth Nintendo Switch gamepad provides all manner of punches, uppercuts, blocks, dodges, plus emotive gestures and dance moves. Shotwell, designed and built by Kris Magri of Robot On!, is a lightweight Kung-Fu Fighting Robot with 15 metal gear servo motors for forceful punches and lighting quick maneuvers. Shotwell entered the arena for the first time at Robogames 2023, weighing in at 1.9 kg and 14 inches tall, placing fourth in Kung-Fu and taking silver medal in weight lifting. Shotwell utilizes a leg linkage which keeps the legs parallel to the ground, a waist rotation axis, and 2000 mAh LiPo battery.
