Na MakerFaire nabídneme interaktivní ukázky, kde si návštěvníci všech věkových kategorií budou moci vyzkoušet, jak Wolfiedo funguje a dozví se, jak jsme propojili NFC technologii s audio obsahem. Pro děti budou připraveny doprovodné materiály a 3D miniatury k dobarvení, které si mohou odnést. Rádi ukážeme celý proces od nápadu po funkční prototyp a podělíme se o znalosti z oblasti 3D tisku, elektroniky a vzdělávání.

I am a technology teacher in district 75 New York City. Over the last two years I have used the program and language scratch that have my students write their own program to fire solenoid to play on glockenspiel (Mental Xylopgone made of mettle not wood). At this last year's district stem fair my students put a speaker in a cylinder, covered in rubber, added a mirror and pointed the lasers at it. This resulted in a musical light show playoff the ceiling. We have also used old floppy drives to build a musical instrument that plays mid files.

ReSYP – Remote Synth Player

ReSYP is a patented web system designed for retailers and manufacturers of MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) electronic musical instruments. With ReSYP, users can try out electronic musical instruments remotely, simply using their computer. The system is based on the interaction between two software components and leverages the Internet infrastructure to create a real-time connection between the user and the instrument available in the store. How it works: The system is composed of two main applications: 1. Player (user side) - Software with a graphical interface featuring a virtual keyboard (similar to a piano) and controls for modifying the sound. - Notes are played using the PC keyboard and the controls are moved with the mouse. - An external MIDI keyboard can be connected for a more realistic experience. 2. Manager (store side) - Software installed on a computer at the point of sale that puts the musical instruments online. - Receives connection requests and creates an interactive channel between the user and the selected instrument. - The sound produced by the instrument is transmitted to the user in real time. The computer at the point of sale must be connected to audio/MIDI interfaces, a TRUE MIDI hub, an Ethernet switch, and remote power distribution units (PDUs) for complete control of the instrument. Important: The instruments remain off until the user logs in. They turn on at the beginning of the session and off at the end, reducing power consumption and wear.

Rádio Kulíšek – staň se redaktorem!

Děti si vyzkouší, jaké to je pracovat v opravdovém rádiu – od nahrávání přes moderování až po střih. Nahrávání v terénu Skupiny po 4 dětech se naučí pracovat s přenosovou technikou a budou nahrávat ankety nebo rozhovory. Redaktor z Rádia Kulíšek je vše naučí a po skončení si společně poslechnou výsledek. Hra na rádio (mini studio) Ve dvojicích si děti zkusí mluvit do mikrofonu, ovládat mixážní pult a vytvořit vlastní krátké vysílání. Střih nahrávek Děti se naučí upravovat nahrávky v programu Audacity a vyzkouší si základní práci se zvukem. Aktivity probíhají po skupinkách (cca 30 minut), v klidném prostoru uvnitř nebo venku (dle počasí). Techniku i vedení zajišťuje tým Rádia Kulíšek.
