The GEarheads are an FTC robotics team that is focused on building technical skills for design and fabrication, we will highlight three CNC router platforms we have constructed. We will demonstrate the use of one open source CNC router, share information on how you can build one, and demonstrate using the CNC. We will showcase building the hardware as well as the CAD and software tools used to operate it. We will also show an example FTC competition robot that used a CNC router to construct many of it parts and be giving opportunities for visitors to drive this robot.

Kulturní a kreativní centrum VARY&TE je ambiciózní projekt zaměřený na podporu kulturního a kreativního sektoru v České republice. Jeho hlavním cílem je výstavba moderního kreativního centra v Karlových Varech, které nabídne široké spektrum prostor a služeb pro tvůrce, inovátory a profesionály z různých oblastí. V rámci centra vznikne coworkingový prostor podporující kreativní myšlení, fablab jako technická a digitální dílna, přednáškový sál pro vzdělávací aktivity a game development space pro inovace v herním průmyslu. Dále bude součástí studio a učebna virtuální reality, podcastové studio, sdílený ateliér pro umělce a dvě kanceláře se zasedací místností k flexibilnímu využití. Pro podporu kulturní mobility nabídne centrum sdílené ubytovací prostory pro kreativní pobyty. Součástí areálu bude také hřiště pro virtuální realitu. Klíčovým aspektem projektu je pořízení moderního vybavení a zajištění bezbariérového přístupu. Projekt přispěje k rozvoji kulturního ekosystému a mezioborové spolupráce, zvýší kompetence a inovační potenciál obyvatel a podpoří udržitelnost kulturní infrastruktury. Důraz bude kladen na ekologickou šetrnost a neutrální dopad na životní prostředí.
