Yolo Maker Guys with robotics, clocks, dragons, kinetic art, lights, rovers, 3d printing and more

Maker Faire Bay Area 2026

September 25th-27th

Exhibit Engineering

We are some creators from Yolo County and bring a wide variety of projects and interests to share. Dave's Cafebot is a mobile high table built for socializing and teaching how to convert a wheelchair base into something exciting. Copperbot is a robotics project that evolved into kinetic art with large vacuum tubes, hundreds of LEDs, cameras, sensors, stereo sound, a cup holder and flapping wings. Doug's original clock creations bring together 3D printing and cool neon lighting to mark time with beauty and whimsy. His lamps cover a wide creative spectrum, built from materials such as plumbing parts, rotating 3D printed gears and metal sculpture. We also being a fleet of surprising smaller bots - mobile tea kettles, gourds with googly eyes, speedy hats and aliens. We enjoy working with many materials - wood, metal, plastics, wire, and learning how to step up our crafts.

Yolo Maker Guys

We are some creators from Yolo County and bring a wide variety of projects and interests to share. Our collection of remote controlled bots range from complex kinetic sculpture to unique cartoonish characters. Our professional skills cover computer science, mechanical engineering, commercial prototype fabrication with 3d printing and machining which we bring to the artistic table to create lamps, dragons, clocks, lots of blinky lights and whatever we can dream.
