I collect antique and vintage jewelry, and create new pieces out of old, forgotten pieces. I love upcycling! I also collect rare, historical, and unique gem stones and create new jewelry for the whole family in sterling silver, 18K gold, and gold-filled wire.
I also create collages out of recycled materials on wooden cigar boxes. I'd like to host this project to inspire more people to use old, forgotten items, and give them new life.
Wesley Barrow
Wesley's ability to design something new, from sentimental heirlooms gives new life to the beads, and gemstones. Her work allows clients to wear and enjoy a piece of family history in a new way. Working with gemstones, and artifacts of nature, like woolly mammoth ivory and puka shells intrigues and challenges Wesley. She hand wraps these earthly mementos with silver, gold-filled, or 18-carat gold wire. Her designs are driven by color, and often incorporate contrasting colors for a visual pop. Making art and sharing it with others, is Wesley's calling. She thrives when expressing herself creatively, and always encourages others to express themselves in creative ways. When she is not in her studio designing and making jewelry, Weasley enjoys collage work with recycled materials, teaching art, and organizing art events. You can see her work at wesleysjewelry.com
