In a world where "professional" creative works are becoming increasingly homogenized, real innovation is dependent on people who aren't afraid to be judged for thinking differently, working slowly, and rejecting shortcuts.
This talk is about swimming against the tide, long term planning, and times in history - and in my own career - where the best solution to a problem came from someone who disagreed with the experts. Its about remembering that underneath expensive tools and technical training, a innate creative spark drives us to MAKE. Listening to and nurturing that spark is what will set you apart.
