The Story of Robot PU

Maker Faire Bay Area 2026

September 25th-27th

Exhibit Robotics

Robot PU is an open-source, 3D-printable bipedal robot powered by the BBC micro:bit and modular AI vision/voice expansions. Designed to teach hands-on mechanical kinematics, coding, and real-world engineering discipline, PU bridges the gap between drag-and-drop programming and expressive humanoid robotics for K–12 creators.

Robot Gyms Inc

RobotGyms is a collaborative community of robotics engineers, veteran competition coaches, passionate educators, and creative young makers dedicated to hands-on engineering and inventive play. We bring together kids, parents, and builders who love turning digital ideas into physical reality through 3D printing, embedded electronics, and bipedal robotics. At RobotGyms, we don’t just teach technology—we build a gym for the mind where curious tinkerers train to become confident, real-world problem solvers and inventors.
