The Chicken QuestGiver (and Other Chicken Crafts)
Maker Faire Bay Area 2026
September 25th-27th
A student-designed mechanical chicken inspired by historic automata such as the Digesting Duck and Zoltar. The chicken lays 3D-printed eggs containing Maker Faire-related “quests” created by our youth, encouraging visitors to complete activities and interact with booths throughout the event before returning to claim a chicken-themed prize.
