One of the early forms of photography know as the "Wet Plate Collodion Process" was a relative simple method of making extremely sharp, clear photographs. Invented by Frederick Scott Archer and open sourced in "The Chemist" in 1851.
Bruce Morton
The Tintype artist, Bruce Morton, has had an interest in photography for over fifty years. At a Civil War re-enactment, he watched with fascination as John Coffer shot Tintypes using period techniques and chemicals. It was magic!
