Puppetronics for Makers: How To Make A Robot Smile
Maker Faire Bay Area 2026
September 25th-27th
In this booth we will be displaying three or four of our latest versions of interactive robot heads. These hand-driven models fit on the desktop, and can display a range of emotions, to the delight of those in its presence. For the theatrically inclined, creatives of all ages, home hobbyists, educators and therapists, the puppets may be programmed to speak and emote using mobile devices and microcontrollers.
Orbicularis Systems
We are a local start-up that is making robot faces more lifelike and personable, and offering them to the maker, educational, theatrical and therapeutic communities, as well as other robotic firms.
