Oscillara
Maker Faire Bay Area 2026
September 25th-27th
You may have seen Oscillara last year, but this version does something new. We've added an interactive console: place your hands near or inside the smaller console and watch the movement ripple out into the larger illuminated piece, in real time.
Twisty Maurice
Playful. Luminous. Built to move. Twisty Maurice is the creative partnership of Misty Post and Therese Gietler (and a lot of guidance from Andy Batt). They build light-based installations that move, react, and surprise, usually starting with a pile of found materials and a stubborn bit of curiosity. Somewhere between the glue gun and the LED strip, a public space turns into something playful and glowing. Twisty's work has shown up at festivals and empty retail storefronts, and every piece invites people to poke around, sometimes literally. What holds it together is a shared appetite for experimentation and a genuine kick out of making something together. The work is thoughtful, but it's also just fun. That's the best part.
