Mech Warfare
Maker Faire Bay Area 2026
September 25th-27th
MechWarfare is a combat battle between 2 walking robots in a city scape (24ft x 16ft x 11ft) with streets, cars & small storm troopers. The 2 robots shoot airlift bbs at each other. Each robot has 4 target plates that register the hits on a score board the audience can see. There are also 2 large monitors showing the robots vision point of view. This is a competition with many different walking robots participating. We also talk about the robots at the arena. We participated in the San Mateo 2019 Maker Faire. In addition to the arena we also require a pits area connected to the arena which is 24ft x 18ft. So total area for the arena & pits area would be 24ft x 34ft.
RTeam Robotics Club
A robot club that designs and builds many types of robots. This entry would be for Mechwarfare robots that walk and shoot. We also build maze solver robots, Sumobot robots, Line racer robots, Ant weight robots and art bots.
