Kevin Combs
Kevin Combs (Combsy) was born in Berkeley, CA and is based in San Jose, CA. His early curiosity about mechanics and performance evolved into work in stage lighting, radio, and live music production. After years producing events and sound, a donated overhead projector sparked Combsy’s current practice of experimenting with light and liquid. His multidisciplinary work blends projection, photography, and physical objects. Recent projects focus on live projection art and collectible physical pieces. Combsy also teaches workshops and collaborates with local arts organizations to share techniques and inspire others.
