THE HOLY BIKE
Built by Keith Young
This motorcycle is a fully hand-built creation constructed from reclaimed steel and powered by a 1975 Honda 550 engine.
Designed without the use of modern fabrication shortcuts, The Holy Bike embraces raw construction, visible structure, and intentional imperfection. The hundreds of drilled holes throughout the bike are not decorative—they are part of a deeper exploration of form, weight, and transparency.
In 2026, The Holy Bike earned:
* First in Class – Boise Roadster Show
* Best in Class – Portland Roadster Show
* Outstanding Bike – Portland Roadster Show
Over five years of appearing at custom motorcycle and car shows across the United States, The Holy Bike has earned nearly 100 awards.
More than a machine, The Holy Bike is a reflection of a mindset—one that values curiosity, individuality, and the excitement of not knowing what comes next.
More than just engineering, The Holy Bike is an expression of attitude. It challenges convention, celebrates creativity, and proves that true craftsmanship isn’t just about building a motorcycle—it’s about building something unforgettable.
Keith Young
Keith Young is a self-taught maker who builds machines from raw materials, scrap metal, and instinct. Starting at 14 rebuilding a wrecked VW Bug, he’s spent a lifetime cutting, welding, and experimenting—turning ideas into rideable art. His creation, the Holy Bike, was built at age 60 from a 1975 Honda 550 engine using found parts and fearless creativity. With over 100 show awards—including the Arlen Ness Award at The Quail Motorcycle Gathering—his work proves that you don’t need perfect tools or plans… just the willingness to make something that shouldn’t exist. Part motorcycle, part sculpture, part experiment—everything he builds is hands-on, one-off, and unapologetically original.
