For over a decade, our FIRST Tech Challenge team has combined competitive robotics excellence with a commitment to expanding STEM opportunities in our community and beyond. Technically, we have earned recognition on the international stage as World Championship Finalist Alliance members, Maryland Tech Invitational Finalist Alliance Captains, Northern California Regional Champions, and multiple-time tournament winners and judged award recipients, reflecting our strength in engineering, innovation, and robot design. Beyond competition, we believe that inspiring future engineers is equally important. We founded the first STEM program at Guy Emmanuele Elementary School, developed and taught engineering curriculum for students at Friends of Special Needs, hosted robotics outreach at community events that have introduced STEM to hundreds of families, mentored new FIRST teams, and partnered with schools and robotics teams internationally to teach programming and engineering concepts. Through these efforts, we strive not only to build world-class robots, but also to create lasting opportunities for students of all backgrounds to discover STEM, develop technical skills, and become the next generation of innovators.
