Stop by to crank and flap our contraptions, personalize a FlappyDo to take home, or try your hand at our larger interactive work. Designed, prototyped, and illustrated in Oakland by an artist-engineer who thinks everyone deserves to know how things work
Curiokits
CurioKits is Ecco's passion project — an Oakland artist, machinist, and educator who designs, builds, and illustrates every kit herself. Her partner Gabriel Naylor is her right hand, covering the digital side of things so the hardware side can keep moving. Behind them is a small throng of volunteers, family very much included, who haul, set up, and staff the booth at every event. It's a family operation held together by people who show up.
