Solar Surrey and Steam Motorcycle

- the Steam motorcycle is hand made, and runs on propane to generate steam to drive a see through steam engine. The result of much experimentation, it rides smoothly, speaks up when the throttle opens, and even has a steam whistle!
- The Solar Surrey is a robot horse that draws an amish surrey (with a fringe on top)! Driven entirely by solar power, this exhibit goes where the horses take us.
Empirical Engineering
Bob has been building electric vehicles for over 50 years. His creations have appeared at Burning man, raced on the salt flats in Utah, and have delighted onlookers all along. Bob and Wouter have been roaming local Bay Area events on robots for over 20 years to spark curiosity and bring joy.
