Microcontrollers have the potential to a be powerful creative tool. Mixing analog creation with digital outputs, the Magic Mandala is something that is awe inspiring and exciting every time. Using persistence of vision, individual creativity, and Uno microcontrollers, this exhibit is always a crowd favorite.
Odyssey Board
We are a couple of public school teachers from Washington State who create projects for Arduino microcontrollers. We believe that electronics and physical computing can be incredibly creative and engaging. We designed an exhibit for the "What is Reality?" exhibit at the Pacific Science Center based on this concept. It is invariably well received and it enjoyed by people of all ages. Kids absolutely love it!
