A 15' mutant glowing kelp tree grows jellyfish lanterns with colorful, glass-like bodies and optical fiber tentacles. Lit by over 800 LEDs, its canopy undulates in the wind as ocean sounds float from below the tree.

Anna Gribovsky

Anna Gribovsky is a Ukrainian-born artist, who draws her artistic inspiration from all three countries where she grew up (Ukraine, Israel, and the US). In 2023, she created Apex of Azure as her first large-scale installation for Burning Man, which returned to the playa in 2024 with (blue!) flame effects . Aquatica is her second installation, which received an honorarium. Anna showed her installations in San Francisco, Miami, and LA.
