Assist the Maker's Fair Staff in documenting the event. Provide an overview of the event through the use of UAV's/Drones.
Rick Smith
Ret. Police Sgt. Rick Smith is a licensed FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot. Rick retired from a Bay Area Police Agency after over 30 years of service. While there, he worked in many capacities. One was the development and supervision of the department UAS Program. This allowed Officers to utilize the several benefits drones offer in a variety of assignments. Ranging from Patrol, SWAT, Investigations, Crime and Traffic Scene Documentation, Search and Rescue, and more. Rick currently works as a UAS Instructor with the Regional Training Center training Basic and Advanced Flight Skills.
