Making things light up: Lights for clothes, accessories, props & more

Maker Faire Bay Area 2024

October 18th-20th

Dark Room Exhibit Art & Design

Ever wanted to shed a bit of light on your clothes or accessories? Wanted to not get in the dark and make stuff that lights up?

Two educators & makers want to help make lights accessible to the art, design, performing arts & maker community, and we want to make a book that champions project-based learning! From non-electronic lights, fairy lights to programmable LED strips, our book covers troubleshooting, debugging, and safety that progresses along with the projects.

We will bring demos and make & takes of these sample projects, so you can get a hands-on preview of our book!
