Reduce, Reuse, Upcycle

Maker Faire Bay Area 2023

October 13th-22nd

Maker & Presenter & Workshop Sustainability & Nature

Plastic pollution is an increasing problem in oceans worldwide. We can help end plastic pollution by reducing the amount of plastic we use and recycling or upcycling already existing plastics. This presentation and demo will show fashion and accessories made from upcycled ocean plastic as part of the Future Oceans International Design Collective. The demo will show how to make jewelry from everyday single use plastic food containers and upcycled ocean pollution microplastics.
