We will be shredding plastic waste using our human powered shredder and turning it in to something wonderful! We will also be partnering with @Inventurous to turn "unrecyleable" plastic bags into card holders or wallets using simple tools you might find at home. Participants will learn about the many alternative to plastic and the single use culture as well as the global Precious Plastic community and how they can participate at home or start a group of their own. We will host a local artist or entrepreneur who is using these same processes and equipment to create products from waste plastics.
