Since 1974 I have published my own unusual product concepts in magazines such as Harper's, Atlantic Monthly, Sierra and many others. I have had an online website www.patentdepending.com, since 2009. I have promoted invention ideas and invention whimsy via a NOODLINGS feature since late 2017 on Facebook. My booth, with my books and prints, excites curiosity and amusement, esp. among the young. In the last few years including 2019 at San Mateo, I was selling more than 80 books. I also participated in Maker Faires in China (X'ian and Shenzhen), Solano County, Sacramento County and East Bay (Oakland).

As a magazine cartoonist starting in 1966, I found a knack for inventing odd, unexpected, or prophetic products. I participated in eight Maker Faires in San Mateo California, 2012-19, and two in China, 2017-18, where I shared my books and prints.
