Open BLS

Empire State Maker Faire 2020

October 16th-17th

Exhibit

I found myself with a bunch of time on my hands because of what is going on, after months of on and off internet research

I present to you Open BLS (bed leveling system) an open source bed leveling solution to fill a void (I think) in the 3D printing community.

Using a octocoupler is nothing new, and boards can be imported very cheaply, however, they are often very large (by comparison) and use cheap components.

Tailored solutions do exist, however the ability to purchase components individually instead of a complete package is currently not possible.

The intent is not to take away from others in the 3D printing community, rather, provide another option.

Everything will be open source and will be available for others to customize for their use case, if needed.

Within the coming weeks, I’ll publish more information, creating documentation, website, and will receive a limited stock of components (shielded sensors, hardware, etc)
