The Sankofa Global Project addresses the issues and biases that create barriers to full inclusion in ed tech for people of all genders, races, and ethnicities through a culturally responsive tech educational platform. This platform, using team learning, is an experiential cohort with actionable curricula that stimulates creativity and fosters social and critical thinking skills.
What inspired you to make this project?:
The Sankofa Global Project’s GED+ Ed Tech Program is an innovative venture for individuals who are currently enrolled in or have completed their GED. This innovative solution is designed to help the community become a strategic catalyst that tackles diversity and inclusion barriers. The GED+ Ed Tech program gives individuals, at various stages of their entrepreneurial endeavors, the agency to “own” their growth and development. We support each cohort as they create their individual solutions by engaging them with culturally responsive tech education, which is the core of the Sankofa Global Project’s mission.
