An Introduction to Quantum Computing Through Comics

Quantum Computing has undergone rapid development in the past decade, emerging into a brand new industry. Leveraging the fundamental laws of nature to build computational algorithms and hardware, enterprises and academia have been steering the direction of this field. The general public still may not have much insight into the subject, however. In the midst of COVID when most people are learning at home, Kitty Yeung started a project on Hackaday.io to educate the community about quantum computing through a comic strip. This presentation aims to provide an introduction to the theory and show how to learn and program a quantum computer.
