404 finding solutions for dealing with epidemics

Institute 404 works as a Youth technology research centre. During the quarantine, we got involved in many initiatives and produced personal protective equipment for the management of epidemics. We designed and started to produce protective shield masks, we collaborated with the initiative zascitimo.si (translated: "Protect Slovenia") and we were part of a team that developed a ventilator "DIHAM" (translated: "I breathe"). This maker approach to problem solving was extensively present during the epidemics and was one of the brightest and most positive attitudes. It showed us how valuable it is to be able to focus on finding solutions, with the mindset of helping and providing the necessary support.
