A portable, resin based 3D Printer for dental and Medical parts on the field? Why not!

Virtually Maker Faire 2020

New LumiFold is my design for a revolutionary professional portable 3D Printer, based on an original system, allowing the device to be ultra-compact
and easily transportable.

There are several scenarios that can benefit of the availability of a professional compact and portable 3D printer:
-a teacher can bring the 3D Printer in a suitcase and print 3d models during the lessons;
-during a medical conference, doctors can 3D print parts from 3D scans of selected case studies for their colleagues, or these 3D parts can be used to better prepare before surgery;
-in developing countries, a machine capable of 3D printing prosthesis parts or dental elements with great precision, but easy to transport, can be a radical step forward for medical care in emergency areas;
-due to the foldable design it takes very little space when not in use; if additive manufacturing (3d printing) in Space (aboard the ISS, or later the Moon) will take place, sending this portable 3d printer in space will cost a 1/10 of the cost of sending a 3D printer with same 3d printing volume.
