I am the principal of a local middle school and an Engineer. I want to share our experience in leading a local initiative teaming up with doctors as well as other community members to manufacture aerosol boxes as well as other PPE in our school lab. We have optimized this open source designs to our doctors, nurses and hospitals needs making changes to original designs . We have been raising the funds and donating them to help our medical community and also to inspire other schools, local authorities and our students, to show them how we can work together to help our community and also to show them the advantages of the maker movement. Our initiatives have been covered in local and national newspapers, I can do a presentation of the initiative, or a workshop of how to make this optimized aerosol boxes and or other PPE such as facemasks in a school lab.
