Library Makerspaces and Civic Responses, and More!
Virtually Maker Faire 2020
May 22nd-23rd
The scene of library makerspaces has drastically changed during this pandemic. However, something that has not changed are the applicable skills one can learn from making, creating, and learning by doing. These are all possibilities for some people with the help of their home library or other libraries.
While makerspaces in libraries may seem like non-traditional services, they are becoming the new norm and the maker scene is thriving in such locations, and this presentation will help you learn why!
This presentation will start with some info on the presenter's experience in makerspaces and will end with a discussion and brainstorming session on social distancing practices and makerspaces.
