Browser controlled robots

I am running remote controlled robots on my website that can be freely accessed through a browser interface. The next step I'd like to go is sending one such robot around this planet in some sort of relay race. I send the robot to a group or single person that sets up a target area that can be explored with the rover for a couple of hours, a day or so. When this mission is finished, the robot is handed to the next person(s). Since travelling is currently restricted to humans, it isn't for robots ;-)

For the day of the Virtual Maker Fair I will set up a special area with 2 or 3 robots running in parallel (outdoor if weather is fine).

I will eventually make a Q&A session for 30-60 minutes with a livestream to YouTube by attaching a smartphone on one of the rovers, but I cant grant if I find time to put this into reality.
