Encouragement Cards / Ornaments / Decorations : Paper Quilling

Virtually Maker Faire 2020

May 22nd-23rd

Exhibit

The aim of this project is to demonstrate how to make paper quilled ornaments, cards, or decorations to cheer up those who are suffering from COVID-19 and to say thanks to the health care professionals.

Paper quilling is an art of cutting paper into thin strips. Then we can roll and pinch the pieces into different shapes and to form a piece of artwork. Paper quilling works can be used to decorate cards, to make 3D ornaments and decorations.

During the demonstration, I'll show how to make various shapes by using thin strips and make a thank you card / a get well card and a decoration for the healthcare professional.
