re:3D is a full-service 3D printing company with a print farm of over 20 printers in Houston, Texas. In response to the pandemic, re:3D has engaged in various efforts to provide PPE to front-line workers, including designing prototypes, printing face shields and comfort straps in bulk, organizing donation efforts, and coordinating with local groups to connect makers to front-line workers. This presentation will outline our process for developing ZippyShield, an adjustable face shield designed with input from a local Houston hospital.
